THE VISION.

The vision that Avril Dankworth had, was to give young people with a love of music an experience that combined her two loves, music and camping. She specified that the musical experience should be completely different to what the campers experienced at school. It should embrace all genres, all abilities, and should take place as much as possible outdoors.

The National Youth Music Camps: As we enter our Fortieth year, this blog aims to celebrate all that happened, all that is still happening, and to toast all that is hopefully yet to come.
