Music camp 2012!

Not long to go now!!, and we have three very exciting music camps all ready to run. We are very much looking forward to seeing everyone, making music and generally having a great time.
Due to time constraints and so many other things to do (!), I won't be doing a blog on this site this year. I will post a few photographs on my blog www.razzamajazz.blogspot.com so have a look, and see what's happening.

Happy birthday Avril. Thank you for first imagining a music camp in the field behind John and Cleo's house, and Thank you for making it happen. Its still as wonderful as you wanted it to be, and many have been greatly inspired by you and your dream!!

Very Proud!!

We are very proud that our ex camper/member of staff Bryony Sutton (now Bryony Hannah) is doing so well. Bryony (pictured in the music camp brochure below playing the saxophone), has recently been in the film "Cemetery Junction" with Ricky Gervais, the play "Childrens Hour" with Keira Knightley, and is at the moment in "Ask the Midwife" which is shown on a Sunday night on the BBC.

Ann Dickens

It is with great sadness that I report the death on Monday of Ann Dickens. Ann , along with her husband Ron was one of our Music camp directors. She was a special lady who inspired me greatly. She wrote many music camp shows, and was a genius with words and lyrics. We wrote a "Who dunnit" musical together called "Murder at Mainbrace Manor", and it was a privilege to (almost) see her brain whirring into action as new ideas came. She had energy, drive, and the creativity of ten people. All this, made for some of the most exciting and vibrant music camps I can remember.

Thank you Christine and the staff of Junior camp for a fantastic week, and thank you EVERYONE for three glorious weeks of music camp.
